Product Condition. The sofa is in excellent condition, barely used. Velvet Beige. The frame is in good, undamaged condition. Information about Cassina. The Cassina Soriana Sofa is a design by Afra & Tobia Scarpa. The Scarpas designed the sofa in 1969 after Cesare Cassina asked them to design a sofa for the Cologne trade show. The couple did so with great success; in 1970, they won the Compasso d'oro for the Soriana, a prestigious award in the world of design.
