◼ THE STORY & DESIGN The comfort of Ligne Roset in its most enveloping version. After the Togo, Michel Ducaroy imagined the Kashima: the upholstery of a Chesterfield, but entirely in foam. You sink into it, settle in to read, and spend the evening there. This piece bears the old label "roset — made in france" and its original thick ecru velvet with a quilted texture. Foams in very good condition: the seat is not sagging and the sofa retains its shape. Three seams, opened over time, have been repaired by a professional tailor; the repair is visible and holds firmly. The underside, invisible in use, retains old traces of moisture that have been treated: no odour.
