Covered sugar bowl in glazed stoneware from the Petit Massé pottery, an emblematic workshop of the Morvan known for its flamed glazes and utilitarian pieces with organic accents. The drip decoration combines deep black, moss greens, wine red, and almost metallic reflections, with a very dense aubergine red interior that contrasts sharply with the exterior. The silhouette rests on a small circular base and is extended by two short handles shaped from the mass. The domed lid features the same glaze effects with a thick central knob typical of artisanal productions from the 1950s to 1970s. Stamped POTERIE PETIT MASSÉ Morvan. In beautiful vintage condition, shiny, with some light signs of use (see photos). Height with lid 13.5 cm, height without lid 9.5 cm, width including handles 16 cm, opening diameter 9.5 cm. A perfect piece in a workshop stoneware and organic modernism decor.
