A stunning mid-century flush ceiling lamp in copper and amber textured glass, dating to the 1960s–70s, in very good condition with a beautiful natural copper patina. The shade is a bold octagonal form assembled from individually framed panels of thick, hammered amber glass — the top panels a clear golden yellow, the side panels a deeper, richer amber-orange, the two tones working together to create a warm, jewel-like whole. The copper framework is precisely mitred at every joint, the metal darkened to a rich brown-copper patina that gives the piece the quality of something genuinely handcrafted. Switch it on and the room changes entirely. The textured glass panels glow like stained glass windows, casting dramatic geometric shadow patterns across the ceiling and upper walls — bold trapezoid shapes in warm amber that shift as you move through the space. The effect is somewhere between a Moroccan lantern and a Frank Lloyd Wright window, simultaneously architectural and deeply atmospheric. Dimensions: 35 × 35 × 11.5 cm.
