Mid-Century Danish Rosewood Three-Leg Coffee Table by Anton Kildeberg, 1960s. Danish mid-century occasional coffee table, made in Denmark in the 1960s by Anton Kildeberg. A small three-legged table with a triangular, organically shaped top and a raised lip of solid wood running around the edge. Compact enough for a sofa side or a small seating group, but with a strong sculptural silhouette — typical of Danish design of the period, where a simple form is carried by good timber and clean joinery rather than decoration. The top is rosewood veneer, with a lively grain that reads clearly across the surface. The solid wood elements, including the three tapered, slightly splayed legs, are padouk. The legs can be unscrewed, so the table packs into a relatively shallow box for shipping. This is a different piece from the larger walnut Kildeberg sofa table also available in the shop — smaller, three-legged, rosewood rather than walnut, and more occasional in scale. Dimensions. Height: 55 cm. Width: 79 cm. Depth: 79 cm. Condition. Very good restored condition. Surface refinished and polished, with light wear consistent with age and use. No structural defects. Shipping.
