Mid-Century Credenza in Rosewood by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1960s

Rosewood sideboard by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik. This beauty was made in Denmark in the 1960s. It is crafted from rosewood, which is very rich in grain. It features four beautiful doors, with storage space and four drawers at the back. To open each door, there is a sculpted wooden handle made from very high-quality solid rosewood. This piece has amazing details, and Arne Hovmand's design truly shines through this masterpiece. The back is also veneered in rosewood, allowing it to be used as a freestanding piece that can be placed in the middle of a room. The sideboard is overall in good condition, with some minor surface scratches on the top and a slightly visible ring/dark stain from a vase or similar. As you can see in the photos, one of the doors is missing its veneer, but this is not something that is noticeable when the doors are closed or affects the functionality of the furniture.
