Ceramic lamp by Agnes Debizet. Contemporary ceramicist. Terracotta lamp, signed and dated 2021. Height: 53cm, Diameter: 40cm. Agnès Debizet was born in Marseille. After studying literature, her encounter with clay led her to sculpture. Her work ranges from functional objects to monumental installations, embracing a breadth she embraces. Since 1998, when she relocated her ceramics studio to the Yonne region, she has been working in Paris on large paper collages on wooden panels, her "folding sculptures." Recent exhibitions: Galerie May, rue de Lille, Paris; guest at the Banquet of the Révélations art fair, Grand Palais, Paris; "Perturbation de façade" at the Musée Fabre in Montpellier; installation of "Evolution, " a monumental and evolving sculpture, touring France; Hôtel Martinez in Cannes; Sofitel in Marseille; Nobilis window display in Paris.
