Patinated Parisian buffet (renovated)

Originating from popular French furniture, this Parisian sideboard combines simplicity, sturdiness, and natural charm. Its soft and luminous patina allows it to easily blend into a kitchen, dining room, or hallway, adding a warm and lively touch. Materials: Crafted from beech, this Parisian sideboard reveals wood with visible grain and traces of old, patinated grey paint. Features: The sideboard consists of two drawers at the top, providing practical storage for everyday use. At the bottom, a cupboard with two solid doors opens to a generous storage space, enhanced by two fixed-height shelves. The solid brass butterfly hinges add a particular charm to the sideboard. Its balanced proportions and robust structure make it a piece of furniture that is both functional and aesthetic, ideal for daily use. Renovation: This Parisian sideboard has been carefully sanded to remove the various layers of paint it was covered with, while leaving some traces. It was then washed and protected with a clear matte varnish on the outside, and painted in the Oval Room Blue shade from Farrow & Ball. Finally, as the lock was no longer functional, a magnet was installed to ensure the doors close properly. Dimensions: L100.5 X D44 X H94. Drawers: L37 X H7. Cupboard: L92 X D37 X H72.
