Grand Parisian buffet with billot and butterfly hinges, raw wood, 1930.

Magnificent Parisian Art Deco buffet made of solid beech, fully renovated. Healthy and sturdy furniture. Superb original patina. It has been carefully sanded with a clear matte oil protection finish. Two drawers that slide easily, equipped with lovely Art Deco brass shell handles; an Art Deco-inspired fabric lines the bottom of each drawer and the inside of the doors. The doors are not warped and close easily with the original lock; the rare brass butterfly hinges add charm to this buffet. Inside, two new shelves have been added. The back has been reinforced, as well as the exterior on the right side (see photo), and vintage wheels have been installed. Please note that all these vintage pieces show signs of use and minor defects despite a long and careful renovation. Any major defects are noted in my listings. Please note that the top has stains and burn marks from use (see photos). Also, there are ink stains at the back of the drawer (see photos).
