Set of 2 Spanish high-back leather slipper chairs by Pierre Lottier, 1950s

This pair of slipper chairs was designed by the French interior designer Pierre Lottier during the 1950s. Lottier lived and worked in Spain. Different versions of the slipper chair design have been produced in Spain by the manufacturers Valmazan and Valenti. This is a rare high-back version covered with the original high-quality cognac brown leather and the characteristic nailhead details. The curved frames are made from solid oak.
