Charming pair of baluster-shaped slipware vases from the Art Nouveau period, circa 1890. These vases feature a very rich relief decoration with sculpted handles and an ornamented neck, typical of the Art Nouveau aesthetic. Each side is adorned with a hand-painted lakeside landscape, depicting romantic scenes with boats, reflections on the water, and moonlight. Polychrome earthenware with bluish emerald green, brown, and pink glazes, offering a luminous and decorative finish, with a beautiful presence. These vases bear a moulded model number (1174), characteristic of slipware productions from the late 19th century, likely of French or Central European origin. There are a few discreet small restorations on the base and inside the neck. There are slight signs of use (micro-scratches or small marks), normal for antique pieces. The price reflects these imperfections. Height 25cm. Width with handles 13cm. Diameter of the vase neck 6cm. Total weight 1.120kg.
