Made with love by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam from an antique Boch Frères Keramis vase (Model 1118, circa 1920–1930) designed by Charles Catteau, this unique table lamp transforms the iconic Art Deco "pineapple" vase. The vase base is paired with a new handmade pleated lampshade made from cotton-silk Ikat fabric woven and dyed by hand on traditional Uzbek looms, featuring a matching green cord. The lamp was created without damaging the original vase. The ceramic vase showcases a raised geometric pattern repeated in its ovoid shape and finished with a fine cracked ivory glaze. The assembled lampshade features a vibrant pattern of blue, green, and ivory Ikat fabric with feathered edges and subtle tonal variations.
