The frame, finely crafted from wood, features elegant portico architecture, with fluted columns, sculpted capitals, and decorative friezes and scrolls. The gilding, in a warm and luminous hue, highlights the reliefs and gives the whole piece a strong decorative presence. The arched pediment, embellished with stylised floral motifs, adds a touch of elegance and refinement typical of character pieces. At the top, one can see the initials "AM" and a Kat'Déco label; this is a work executed by Catherine Leduc, a decorative painter and founder of Kat'Déco in Bayonne since the year 2000.
