Very beautiful rectangular mirror in the Louis XVI style, dating from the second half of the 19th century (Napoleon III period). It is distinguished by its elegant sculpted pediment, adorned with a large draped and pleated ribbon bow in a symmetrical design. The frame, made of wood and gilded stucco, is enhanced on its inner perimeter by a delicate frieze of pearls, typical of the neoclassical repertoire. Condition: Very good overall condition for its age. Glass: The silvering of the glass is very clean, clear, and free from major oxidation stains. Back: Original fir wood backing, sound and well-preserved. Style: Ideal for adding a classic and bright touch above a chest of drawers, a fireplace, or in an entrance hall.
