Beautiful rare floor lamp by Philips, designed by the Philips design team led by Louis Kalff, model name NX38. Sleek and minimalist, but with attention to detail. The hole in the middle of the shade also lets light through upwards, creating beautiful lighting in the room. According to the Philora catalogue from Philips, intended for a mirrored bulb. The white plastic diffuser under the shade provides a very pleasant diffuse light under the lamp. A strong addition to any interior that loves Dutch modernism.
