Small antique Italian inlaid table with Swiss music box.

Small antique table of Italian origin, inlaid, with a very compact format and a light silhouette, opening to reveal a compartmented interior. Its delicate proportions and decorative top make it both a functional and decorative piece. Dating from the late 19th century / early 20th century, it is equipped with a perfectly functional mechanical music box, the mechanism of which is signed Lador – Switzerland. The whole is varnished and shiny, with a natural patina related to age, which fully contributes to the charm and authenticity of the object. The table no longer locks. It can be used as a small side table, jewellery box, music box, or a decorative object of character. Approximate dimensions: 27 × 37.5 × 42.5 cm. Overall good condition for an antique piece, with signs of wear consistent with its age, all visible in the photos.
