Art Deco gueridon in walnut burl marquetry, 1930.

Elegant octagonal side table from the Art Deco period, made in the 1920s in the style of Paul FOLLOT. This refined piece of furniture features a superb octagonal top in walnut burl marquetry, framed by a geometric frieze typical of the Art Deco style. The structure rests on four tapered fluted legs, providing great elegance and a beautiful visual lightness. The front is enhanced by a small central drawer with a brass keyhole, practical for storing small items. The sides display delicate carved patterns that reinforce the decorative character of the piece. The quality of the walnut burl and the marquetry work testify to a fine cabinetmaking craftsmanship. Perfect as a side table, end table, living room guéridon, or small entrance table. Light signs of use consistent with the age of the furniture and a small lack of varnish (see photo).
