Charming antique mustard pot (or salt cellar) in fine porcelain/earthenware, with naturalistic relief decoration. Cabbage shape with sculpted butterfly. Late 19th - early 20th century barbotine style. 📏 DIMENSIONS: • Total height: 8.5 cm. • Diameter of the cabbage: 7.5 cm. • Diameter of the base (leaf): 11 cm. 🎨 DESCRIPTION: Complete set of 3 pieces (rare!): Cabbage-shaped green pot with handle. Sculpted lid topped with a relief butterfly, matching small spoon in white porcelain. Very detailed relief moulded decoration: veins of the cabbage, wings of the butterfly. Old gilding on the edges (normal and authentic wear). Olive green and celadon palette with golden highlights. ✨ STYLE & EPOCH: Naturalistic barbotine, French or German production late 19th - early 20th century (1880-1920). Peak period for tableware shaped like vegetables, fruits, and natural elements. Typical of Belle Époque bourgeois table arts.
