"large mirror h 212 X 101 cm empire period 1810 carved gilded wood very good condition" Large gilded wooden mirror, High 212 x101 cm. Origin: sweden around 1810/1820. Beautiful gilding, alternating matt and shiny gold. Imposing detached gilded wooden columns with palmette capitals. Arch-shaped mirror surmounted by a pediment with an uncrowned imperial eagle with outstretched wings holding in its talons the spindle of jupiter. (photo 11: d bone of the eagle carved wooden with its hand-forged nails.which dates well the early nineteenth century) Old parquet floor. Original mercury ice some defects on the tain. Very good condition, no restoration to be expected.
