Important two-body buffet in walnut, of beautiful proportions, dating from the 18th century. The lower body opens with four doors and four drawers in a belt. The upper part, slightly recessed, features four doors with moulded and shaped panels, revealing several levels of shelves. The façade is rhythmically adorned with flat-panelled sections, moulded uprights, and a wide overhanging cornice. The shaped lower rail rests on small curved feet. The drawers are fitted with drop handles in iron, while the doors retain their long lock entries and metal fittings. The walnut has a beautiful warm and nuanced patina, with particularly expressive grain on some panels. With its large dimensions, architecture, and moulded decoration, this piece fits within the tradition of large regional buffets in the Louis XV style of the 18th century. Sold as is, with signs of use, wear, previous restorations, and visible accidents corresponding to its age. Functionality and presence of locks to be verified.
