Table with exotic marquetry

Here is Dominique. This table has not always revealed all its richness. Beneath a finish that concealed the essential, this top hid a finely crafted exotic wood marquetry, supported by legs adorned with brass caps. Our intervention: Careful sanding to bring out the design of the marquetry, revealing the natural beauty of the poplar legs, followed by oiling the top to enhance the patterns and give it a silky touch. One of the brass caps has a crack, a discreet mark of time that in no way compromises the piece's solidity; it simply tells its story. French made, restored in our workshop in Nantes.
