Flip-top partner secretary desk by Jens Quistgaard for Løvig, Denmark 1960s

This impressive free-standing writing desk was designed by Jens Quistgaard for Peter Løvig Nielsen, Denmark in the late 1960s. It features a unique flip-top (foldable desk top unit) for added work space. The high-quality desk is made from oak wood (solid and veneered wood) showing a beautiful wood grain. There are several drawers and compartments offering a lot of storage space. It features beautiful details, like the geometrically shaped handles, the brass hinges and elegant drawers. The desk is in very good original condition. There is a small area where the wood has discolored (probably from ink); see the detailed photos.
