19th-century solid wood Henri II bedside table

Antique bedside table or nightstand dating from the late 19th century or the first half of the 20th century. Possible styles: Napoleon III or inspired by Louis Philippe / Henri II, given the turned and fluted legs. It has a small upper drawer and a lower niche closed by a flap. It also features a stretcher shelf at the bottom. Originally, this piece of furniture had a top made of white or light grey marble. It has been replaced by a removable wooden top entirely hand-painted with a naive floral pattern. In good condition and sturdy. Other uses: side table, end table. Width 40 cm, depth 40 cm, height 83 cm.
