Tableau Pastel 1857 "Young Girl with Fruits" by Mrs Ganthenet

A pastel drawing on paper mounted on canvas framed (of the period - dated on the back 1857) depicting a portrait of a young woman with a fruit basket. The work was likely framed in a tondo format (trace around the edge) and will require some attention (minor scratches in the hair and a tiny tear in the blue background). The work is signed on the reverse, in ink, by Madame Ganthenet - everything is visible in the photos, which are contractual. Dimensions of the frame: 65 / 81 cm.
