Mid Century Armchair in Teak by Erik Kirkegaard for Glostrup, 1960s

Danish mid-century armchair, model GM11, in teak by Erik Kirkegaard for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, 1960s. Solid teak frame with slender, slightly splayed legs and softly rounded armrests that flow into the upholstered backrest. The seat and back have been reupholstered in a green fabric with stripes and a floral pattern. Vintage condition with age-related wear and tear on the wood, reupholstered (see photos).
