This beautiful set is composed of an oval dish and a round dish or mounted plate in fine Creil Montereau earthenware. This "Flora" model dates from the 19th century - it was a great success for the factory presented at the 1855 World's Fair in Paris. It is signed with the brand "CREIL et MONTEREAU - LM & Cie - Flora" for the Creil Montereau earthenware factory run by partners Louis Martin Lebeuf and Jean-Baptiste Millet, between 1840 and 1876. Round in shape, the plate is mounted on a pedestal and the dish is oval. They are decorated with a delightful cobalt blue decoration: climbing flowers - bindweeds. Note old chips and an old restoration: care was taken to ensure the longevity of this tableware, despite an accident. The mounted plate has 3 chips and was restored in two places with staples at the beginning of the 20th century. The plate measures 22.8 cm X 5 cm high. The oval dish measures 27.5 cm X 20 cm and has a chip.
