The BRICK lamp by J. T. Kalmar is pure, brutalist poetry of light. Its shades of thick, foamed glass resemble irregular blocks of ice or glass bricks - hence the name, which perfectly captures the character of this form. This is a design with soul - it impresses with its sculptural form, material expressiveness and light of complex structure. Frothy glass, which gained popularity in the 1960s, not only decorates, but also filters the light, creating a soft, diffused glow with a striking three-dimensional character.
