Set of 3 modernist glass ice appliques from Murano Poliarte 1970.

Exceptional and rare set of three modernist wall sconces from the 1960s/1970s. This cruciform geometric model is a superb attribution to the work of Albano Poli for the famous Italian house Poliarte. Without a visible signature (original label absent), the quality of execution reflects the craftsmanship of the Murano era. Each sconce consists of: * Solid blocks of textured Murano glass (ice glass effect) beautifully capturing the light. * Amber/topaz coloured glass elements at the centre and periphery, creating a warm and elegant contrast. * A circular steel support structure. **Condition:** Very good vintage condition for their age. The glass is superb, with no major cracks or chips. The metal structures show signs of use and slight traces of time (visible in photos), which attest to their authenticity.
