Edwardian leather club canapé circa 1910 with feather cushions.

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely English club sofa in oak and brown cognac leather, dating from around 1910, which is part of a set. This sofa is very elegant and comfortable, featuring double-sided cushions filled with feathers and ventilation holes at the back for good air circulation. The cushions have also been reupholstered with additional supportive foam. The leather has been deep cleaned, hand waxed, and polished, as have the oak legs. The sofa shows a natural patina related to age and use, with normal signs of wear for a piece of furniture over 110 years old. The upholstery fabric has been renewed in the last ten years.
