Imagined in 1928 by the visionary trio Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand, the LC4 chaise longue transcends the very concept of furniture to become a true "rest machine." This original Cassina edition is a celebration of pure geometry and discreet luxury. The chrome tubular steel arc, with its absolute brilliance, glides freely on its black lacquered base to embrace the perfect inclination of the body, without the hindrance of any mechanism. ■ CONDITION & AUTHENTICITY This is a 100% original piece, engraved and numbered in the mass (No. 114715). It is in remarkable condition: The chrome is mirror-like, and the black leather is superb. The added bonus: The cushion has been carefully restored (the attachment straps have been completely redone for perfect support). Please note: The matte black base shows some typical wear marks and scratches related to its movement (visible in the last photos), which does not detract from its sculptural appearance.
