Authentic LC4 edited by Cassina in the 1970s, based on the famous design by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. This numbered example (3075) retains several characteristics typical of Cassina's older productions, notably its original suspension system with springs and rubber elements. The chaise longue is dressed in its original pony skin, showing a beautiful patina developed over the decades. This natural wear gives the piece a unique personality and authentic charm. The upholstery has been restored with new inner foam and a new leather piping while retaining the original skin cover. The chrome tubular structure shows some signs of use. The black lacquered steel base exhibits a patina consistent with its age. The rubber supports of the base show some signs of wear but remain perfectly functional. An old and sought-after version of one of the absolute icons of 20th-century design.
