Mid-Century Glass Suspension Light LT 338 Italian by Carlo Nason for Mazzega

Vintage design. Impressive pendant light from the Italian manufacturer Mazzega based on a design by Carlo Nason from the 1960s. This hanging lamp impresses with its precision, design language, and materiality. It consists of 4 large, differently shaped Murano glass domes with a structure of small bubbles (Pulegoso glass). These are stacked on top of each other and fixed to a central metal cylinder. The uniqueness lies in the layering of the domes and the play with transparency. The brightness of the glass domes decreases towards the outside, enhancing the layering effect. This pendant is not just a source of light but also presents itself as an imposing luminous object in the space. Due to its weight, the lamp has a very sturdy suspension with a matching canopy. It is in very good condition. No chips in the glass.
