Beautiful large LT328 table lamp in very good condition. Designed by Carlo Nason and manufactured by Mazzega in the 1970s. This sculptural Italian table lamp features four interlocking, hand-blown Murano glass elements in pulegoso glass, arranged in a striking layered composition on its metal structure. The traditional pulegoso technique incorporates tiny air bubbles into the glass, creating a softly textured appearance. When illuminated, the layered glass diffuses the light beautifully, producing a warm, atmospheric glow. The lamp's ingenious internal mechanical system uses circular support rings and brass washers to secure each glass element, demonstrating the technical precision and engineering innovation of Mazzega’s production during the era. Combining innovative construction with expressive Murano glass, the LT328 is a distinctive example of Italian modernist lighting from the 1970s, making it an elegant statement piece for contemporary, modernist, and mid-century interiors.
