Kai Kristiansen chairs in roswood model 42, set of 8,Denmark 1960s

Set of 8 famous and very elegant vintage chairs in rosewood, model 42, designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Schou Andersen in the 1960s. It can be a great addition to any dining or a living room. Solid rosewood frame and new natural recycled wool upholstery in light grey color is a perfect combination of vintage Scandinavian craftsmanship and modern sustainability, and make the chairs stylish and extraordinary. The model 42 has a comfortable pivoting back and a stable, solid wood structure. Chairs #42 perfectly exemplifies Danish modern design’s meld of form, space, and functionality. The chairs have been renovated, the wood has been cleaned and preserved with professional compounds. Seat foams has been exchanged, which adds much comfort. New natural wool upholstery, that copmes from recycled fibers was put in the same manner as the original. Overall this set is in fantastic condition. We leave very minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering that they are 60 years old.
