Writing desk made in the 18th century during the reign of Louis XV in the Loire Valley. Its front and sides are made of walnut. It opens with two large identical drawers, applied to the body, with slightly shaped edges in half-round. They are topped by two smaller drawers. In the central part, there is also a false drawer with a bronze entry. The sloping flap, with a cover, features a frame with mitered corners and a half-round shape. It should be noted that the wooden parts are well joined and free from elements not corresponding to the period of this piece of furniture (composite or otherwise). The interior also offers a central niche, a compartment, two concave drawers with steps, and a slightly grooved drawer. The latter open with brass knobs.
