Chesterfield armchair for director or captain in restored Art Deco leather.

We are delighted to offer this lovely Art Deco captain's or director's Chesterfield armchair in Cigar brown leather, fully restored and hand-dyed. The frame is made of mahogany and beech, with period leather; the seat consists of straps and spiral springs. The chair swivels, has a height-adjustable dome on the base, and a tension bar for reclining. The leather has been washed, hand-dyed six times, aged, sealed, waxed, and polished. Signs of patina related to age and use are visible, as expected for a piece of furniture dating back approximately 80 to 100 years.
