Vintage Leather Chesterfield Director's Armchair

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent Chesterfield Directors "Godfather" vintage captain's chair, handmade in England, featuring heritage brown leather and finished with new brass castors. The chair is very comfortable, comparable to your favourite reading chair with castors. The leather is of Heritage type with a beautiful look and feel, known as the Godfather chair because it was used in the film The Godfather. The condition has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, with the leather displaying a vintage appearance and signs of age and use across the surface. The leather has naturally faded to a lighter tone at the front and remained darker at the back and sides. This chair can be fully restored for a result better than new, but it has been left in its authentic state. Dimensions: Height: 110 cm, Width: 80 cm, Depth: 78 cm, Seat Height: 44 cm. The vintage leather shows a natural patina with cracks, creases, and wear. Regular waxing is recommended to maintain the leather's hydration.
