Chesterfield executive armchair in aniline leather

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent captain's or director's Chesterfield armchair in hand-dyed aniline leather in cigar brown with an original patina. This original Art Deco chair, circa 1920, has a mahogany and beech structure with period leather. The seat platform features straps and spiral springs, it swivels, has an adjustable height dome on the base, and an inclination tension bar. This chair exhibits a natural patina corresponding to its age, with leather designed to show the grain, which is more expensive than modern treated leathers. It has been deeply cleaned, hand-conditioned, waxed, and artisanally polished from top to bottom. Dimensions: Height: 108 cm adjustable; Width: 76 cm; Depth: 80 cm; Seat height: 50 cm adjustable. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: wear consistent with age and use, slight discolouration.
