Important handwoven tapestry Medieval life 20th century

An important hand-woven tapestry, canvas, depicting "The Falcon Hunt" or "Medieval Life". Woven originally in the workshops of Tournai, in the Flanders region, around 1515, the scene represents a falconry expedition in a hilly countryside at the beginning of the reign of Francis I. Cotton backing, ring hooks, passes for a wooden hanging rod (provided if collected on site). Period: 20th century. Dimensions: 70 X 200 cm. Very good condition.
