Art Nouveau spherical vase signed Jérôme Massier - Vallauris (Early 20th century)

Magnificent antique earthenware vase in a spherical shape, signed by the renowned Jérôme Massier factory in Vallauris. This authentic piece dates from the Art Nouveau period and testifies to the expertise of artistic ceramics on the French Riviera during the Belle Époque. Features: Decoration: Superb naturalistic floral decoration in low relief (barbotine style), depicting blooming yellow and red flowers on a nuanced white and seafoam green background. Finishes: The vase is adorned with wavy gold rims at the neck and base, typical of the style of the period. Signatures: Double identification guaranteeing authenticity: Handwritten signature "J. Massier" on the body of the vase (within the decoration). Impressed stamp "J. MASSIER VALLAURIS" under the base. Condition: Good overall condition. The colors have remained very vibrant and fresh. Note: slight patina from use on the gilding in places, consistent with the age of the object (see photos). No major cracks visible.
