Longwy enamel plate – Decorated with polychrome birds and flowers – 1950

Large decorative earthenware platter from Émaux de Longwy, hand-decorated with birds and flowers on a turquoise background. Signed on the reverse, it bears the mark "Hand-decorated – Émaux de Longwy – France, " indicating post-war production (circa 1945-1960) where the company combined tradition with stylistic innovation. Discreet initials of a decorator are also visible, likely those of Simone Masson, who worked at the factory in the 1940s and 1950s. Dimensions. Diameter: 32 cm. Condition.
