Longwy plate, 1930 – Enamel decoration of birds and orange flowers

Longwy glazed earthenware plate, first half of the 20th century, decorated with cloisonné of birds in a floral landscape against a turquoise background. Glazed and decorated by hand. On the reverse, the printed mark “Hand-decorated – Longwy Enamels – France” and the handwritten inscription “Enhanced LG” confirm its artisanal production in Lorraine workshops. This marking corresponds to the period 1930–1950, when the factory adapted its repertoire to the tastes of a public attached to tradition while seeking a more graphic expression. Dimensions.
