Vintage lounge chair in teak and leather from the 1960s.

This lounge chair is a characteristic example of mid-century modern design from the period 1965–1975. Its origin is believed to be Scandinavia or Germany, regions where, at that time, much attention was paid to seating comfort, the use of materials, and clear proportions. The frame is made of solid teak and features a strong, balanced line. In our workshop, all the old layers of lacquer have been removed. The wood has then been hand-sanded and finished with a matte furniture oil. This has brought out the warm, natural colour of the teak, and the grain appears calm and refined. The seat and backrest are covered in cognac-coloured leather and are classically upholstered. The leather has been deeply cleaned and nourished again with a high-quality leather wax specially suited for seating furniture. Thanks to this treatment, the leather has regained a fresh, uniform appearance and offers a pleasant and comfortable seating experience. The slightly backward-tilted seat, combined with the wide armrests and generous cushions, makes this chair particularly suitable as a lounge chair.
