Curved commode in marquetry – Louis XV style, late 19th century. Superb curved commode on all sides in precious wood marquetry with floral decoration, opening with two front drawers. French work from the 19th century in the Louis XV style, featuring an elegant flowing line with a curved front and sides. The finely executed marquetry decoration consists of floral bouquets and scrolls, arranged on a veneer with a frieze pattern creating chevron effects. The sides are also adorned, a sign of careful and decorative craftsmanship. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronze (handles, lock plates, feet, and drops) in rococo style, adding relief and refinement to the whole. Moulded marble top (breccia), perfectly fitting the curved shapes of the commode. Rests on four cabriole legs ending in bronze feet. Period: 19th century (Louis XV style) Dimensions: Height: 85 cm.
