Vintage oil painting 'Bunte Szene' - Miklós Németh, 1962

Executed in a dynamic and expressive manner, the composition combines elements of Hungarian modernism with influences from German expressionism. Bold brushstrokes and abstract forms give the work a vibrant rhythm and emotional depth. The colour palette is dominated by bright reds, yellows, greens, and blues, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. The motif depicts what appears to be a village or small town scene: in the foreground, two stylised human figures and several trees are visible, while in the background, houses, a church topped with a prominent white cross, and a stylised yellow sun crown the upper part of the painting. Oil on cardboard. Information about the artist is attached to the back.
