Voodoo Art White Haiti Acrylic Vaudun Art Brut Animism

I offer you this vaudun acrylic. I am lucky to be able to offer this rare work in haitian voodoo art. 41.5 cm wide 29.4 cm high. This type of work made in trans voodoo is very typical of the genre with this type of colors. I found pieces of this style in what I would classify into two very different families: white voodoo and black voodoo and this in three sectors: africa, brazil and haiti. There must be others but I am only at the beginning of my quest for understanding! This white voodoo painting very loaded with symbols gives off a much more positive spirit, but just as expressive as its black opposite. This type of work being made in a second state, the support sheet often bears marks of mistreatment, here a discreet vertical fold.
