Artist: Pierre Lacroux (1909 Montpellier - 1993 Privas) Student of the École des Beaux-Arts under André Lhote. Technique/Support: Gouache and oil pastel on drawing paper. Dimensions: 24 x 32 cm (sheet) Frame: None. Weight: 25 g. Artwork in good condition, very colorful. Landscape, village church steeple. Signed and dated 20.6.89 lower right. Pierre Lacroux exhibited at, among other venues, the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon d'Automne in Paris, and the Salon de l'Éducation Nationale. Founding member of the Salon du Sud-Est in Lyon. Vice-President of the Salon d'Automne Vivarois in Privas, etc. Artist listed in the Bénézit. See photos for details.
