Mid-century style designer lamp, designed by Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni for the Italian publisher Flos in 1965. The opal glass bowl emits diffused light, a polished aluminum reflector mounted at the base gives more direct light towards the bottom. The name “black & white” comes from the contrast between the bowl and the base when only one of the two is lit. The lamp is in good condition, just a few marks on the aluminum visible in the zoom photo. Diameter: approximately 50 cm.
