Splugen Brau ceiling light, modern Italian mid-century design by Castiglioni for Flos, 1960s. The turned lampshade is dome-shaped in metal with a gold finish; the original cable has yellowed slightly over time but can be replaced if desired. Produced by Flos and designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1961 on commission from the Splugen Brau restaurant and brewery in Milan. In very good condition, with signs of use and aging, a few scratches and minor dents but nothing serious. Diameter: 36cm.
