TL3 table by Franco Albini for Poggi, 1951

The TL3 table is a masterpiece of Italian rationalism, designed by Franco Albini in 1951 for the historic Poggi bodywork and furniture workshop in Pavia. It stands out for its revolutionary concept of disassembly using Allen screws and for the iconic spacer that tops the legs, creating the illusion of a tabletop floating in the air. This example, produced in the 1950s, is one of the first editions of the TL3 table in teak, in its square version of 90 x 90 cm. Initially well-preserved for its 70 years of existence, it has recently undergone a quality restoration, visible in the photos.
